2-D: Gargoyle Reflection! Feb. 28th
1. What are the good/ strong parts of your project? what is done well, why? Strong features, and good deatails. The shape is done well, because it fits what i was doing with the emotion.
2. What do you think you could have done better on this project? why? I could have smoothed it out better. because its rough
3. Describe the attributes of your theme/ unity: what is the design like? why? My project is goofy and crappy. The design is long because i wanted the emotion to be that way.
4. Describe the form why? Its oblong because it fits my project and the way i wanted it to work
5. What are the two main points of emphasis. why? how? The mouth is open and big because I wanted my Gargoyle to look scary but turned out more goofy. The top of the head is oddly shaped because i wanted it to be stuck out.
6. Metacognate: what did you learn from this project that you could apply to others? That I should have taken my time, because slow and steady wins the race. I had a good idea in my head of what i wanted to do for my gargoyle, but it turned out way different because I went too fast.
7. Evaluate the design of your gargoyle: why did you do it the way you did? was it planned? why? I had a plan for my gargoyle but it ended up different than i had planned because I ran into it too fast and than just wanted it to get done.
8. Is this a worthwhile project that Purdy should continue to use? what should Purdy do to improve this project for the future? I'd say its a neat project, but i personally think each year you should switch up projects just to try something different.
